Key Responsibilities:

• Edit manuscripts for grammar, punctuation, spelling, and sentence structure
• Ensure consistency in language, tone, style, and formatting across books and series
• Review content for clarity, readability, and age-appropriate language for children
• Fact-check information and ensure accuracy in educational or informational content
• Work closely with editors, writers, designers, and illustrators
• Proofread layouts and final pages before printing
• Follow the company’s editorial style guidelines and maintain quality standards
• Review translations or adapted content when required
• Ensure corrections and revisions are implemented accurately before final production

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Undergraduate candidates can also apply;                                                                   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Journalism, Literature, Mass Communication, or a related field will be preferred
• Excellent command of English grammar, punctuation, and style
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies
• Familiarity with editing guidelines and style manuals
• Understanding of age-appropriate language for children
• Ability to manage multiple manuscripts and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Strong proofreading and content polishing skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
