Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new products and modify existing ones based on trends, buyer feedback, and market research
- Manage sampling process: create tech packs, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure quality
- Coordinate production with vendors, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery
- Collaborate with design, sourcing, and QC teams for smooth execution
- Analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer preferences
- Manage product costing, pricing, and ensure margins for export orders
- Handle vendor communication, negotiations, and performance tracking
Requirements:
- 3-5 years in home textiles (export house), as a merchandiser or designer
- Experience in sampling, production, and vendor management
- Knowledge of fabrics, finishes, and construction techniques
- Strong understanding of export compliance and documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office and product development tools
- Communication skills in English (local language a plus)
