As the Interior Design Head, you will lead and oversee the interior design department within our organization. You will be responsible for managing a team of interior designers, coordinating projects, ensuring design excellence, and providing creative direction. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the successful execution of interior design projects, meeting client expectations and delivering outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Leadership: Provide creative vision, direction, and guidance to the interior design team. Inspire and mentor designers to deliver innovative and exceptional design concepts.

2. Project Management: Oversee multiple interior design projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are executed smoothly, on time, and within budget. Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

3. Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of interior designers.

Assign projects, delegate responsibilities, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

4. Design Concept Development: Lead the development of design concepts and strategies for interior projects. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and objectives. Translate client needs into creative and functional design solutions.

5. Space Planning and Layout: Provide expertise in space planning, optimizing layouts, and creating functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and accessibility standards.

6. Material and Finishes Selection: Guide the selection of appropriate materials, finishes, furnishings, and fixtures that align with the design concept and meet project specifications. Stay updated on industry trends, products, and suppliers.

7. Budgeting and Resource Management: Collaborate with project managers to establish budgets for interior design projects. Monitor expenses, resource allocation, and procurement to ensure cost-effective project delivery.

8. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all interior design deliverables meet the defined quality standards, design intent, and client expectations. Review drawings, specifications, and design documentation for accuracy and completeness.

9. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and providing excellent customer service. Seek opportunities for repeat business and referrals.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

- Proven experience (10 years) in interior design, with a focus on residential or commercial projects.

- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

- Excellent creativity and design sensibility, with a portfolio demonstrating successful projects.

- Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or Revit.

Knowledge of rendering software is a plus.

- In-depth knowledge of interior design principles, materials, and finishes.

- Strong project management abilities, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

- Effective communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with clients and stakeholders.

- Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
