About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in AutoCAD 2D and SolidWorks 3D to design and develop equipment used in surface finishing industries, including powder coating plants, electroplating lines, paint booths, conveyor systems, and customized industrial machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.

• Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings in SolidWorks.

• Design industrial equipment such as:

  • Powder Coating Plants

  • Electroplating Lines

  • Paint Booths

  • Conveyor Systems

  • Drying Ovens

  • Chemical Treatment Tanks

  • Material Handling Equipment

• Develop fabrication drawings with dimensions, tolerances, BOMs, and welding details.

• Coordinate with production, fabrication, and installation teams for design execution.

• Modify existing designs based on client requirements and site conditions.

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards and manufacturing feasibility.

• Prepare design documentation and technical reports.

• Support troubleshooting and design improvements during manufacturing and installation.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.

• Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D Modeling, Assembly, and Sheet Metal Design.

• Ability to create fabrication and GA (General Arrangement) drawings.

• Knowledge of welding symbols, GD&T, and manufacturing processes.

• Understanding of MS Fabrication, Stainless Steel Fabrication, and Industrial Equipment Design.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and within project timelines.
