We are looking for an experienced professional in Home Textiles / Home Furnishings with strong expertise in sample development, design execution, and collection development. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of fabrics, trims, prints, embroidery, and surface embellishments, along with the ability to work independently with buying houses and direct buyers.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute home furnishing samples as per client requirements, specifications, and design concepts.

• Develop innovative design concepts and collections based on client mood boards, inspirations, and seasonal trends.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of fabrics, trims, prints, embroidery, and various surface embellishment techniques.

• Coordinate independently with buying houses and direct buyers to understand design briefs and sampling requirements.

• Supervise and monitor sampling tailors to ensure accurate sample execution, quality, and timely completion.

• Ensure samples meet approved designs, quality standards, and buyer specifications.

• Coordinate with internal teams for fabric sourcing, trims, sampling, and design development.

• Monitor sample progress and resolve execution-related issues to meet deadlines.

Required Candidate Profile

• 7–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Home Textile / Home Furnishing industry.

• Proven experience in home furnishing sample development and execution.

• Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, prints, embroidery, and surface embellishments.

• Ability to develop design concepts and collections in line with client mood boards and inspirations.

• Experience working with buying houses and/or direct buyers.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to handle client interactions independently.

• Ability to supervise sampling tailors and manage the end-to-end sample execution process.
